Shortcrust pastry, Pâte Brisée. Crunchy and crumbly base, ideal for lemon tarts and other creamy pies.

  • 1. Mix the ingredients, except the egg, until it has a sandy texture;
    Wheat Flour (200 Grams) Sugar (100 Grams) Salt (2 Grams) Margarine (85 Grams)
    Prep time: 5 minutes; Total time: 5 minutes
  • 2. Add the beaten egg and mix until incorporated and smooth;
    Eggs (1 Unit)
    Prep time: 3 minutes; Total time: 3 minutes
  • 3. Refrigerate for 2 hours or more;
    Rest time: 2 hours; Total time: 2 hours
  • 4. Roll out the dough to the desired thickness and cut out using the shape as a template;
    Prep time: 10 minutes; Total time: 10 minutes
  • 5. Place the cut dough on the baking sheet. Prick the base with a fork. Bake at 180ºC (lower heat with convection) until golden brown (approximately 20 minutes).
