This recipe is for those who are thinking of baking their first loaf of bread, or for those who are already used to baking bread but want a simple, quick and tasty bread recipe for every occasion. I've been making this recipe for over 5 years, at least once a week. I make it by hand and with a bread machine. In fact, this is the recipe I use when I want to make a quick loaf entirely in the bread machine. I just add the ingredients, select the quick mode and let the machine run until it finishes baking. Hand kneading is almost as simple. It just requires a little more strength. But the dough isn't too heavy, and it isn't too sticky either (after a while of kneading it no longer sticks to your hand).

  • 1. Add all the ingredients in order to a bowl;
    Wheat Flour (440 Grams) Water (255 Grams) Soy Oil (20 Grams) Sugar (20 Grams) Salt (5 Grams) Dry Yeast (5 Grams)
    Prep time: 3 minutes; Total time: 3 minutes
  • 2. Mix well until almost all the flour is incorporated;
    Prep time: 3 minutes; Total time: 3 minutes
  • 3. Turn the mixture out onto a worktop and knead well, incorporating all the flour. After a while, the dough will no longer be sticky;
    Prep time: 10 minutes; Total time: 10 minutes
  • 4. Let it stand for a while;
    Rest time: 30 minutes; Total time: 30 minutes
  • 5. Stretch the dough out on a surface and roll it out, pressing to create tension on the outer surface;
    Prep time: 2 minutes; Total time: 2 minutes
  • 6. place the rolling pin in the loaf tin and leave to rest until it has approximately doubled in size;
    Rest time: 1 hour and 30 minutes; Total time: 1 hour and 30 minutes
  • 7. Bake in a preheated oven until the desired color is reached.
    Cook time: 22 minutes; Total time: 22 minutes
