This chocolate cake is great for those who like low-sugar cakes. It goes very well with pure coffee after lunch or at any time. If you want it to be sweeter, you could accompany it with red fruit jam, dulce de leche or coconut kisses.

  • 1. Before mixing the ingredients, prepare the baking dish you're going to bake the cake in, grease it with lard or whatever you prefer. Use a mixing bowl to fit all the cake ingredients. Start by mixing the eggs, sugar and butter with a fork until everything is well blended. This step is important to help mix the butter if it is in the fridge. Then add the milk, pinch of salt, chocolate, 100% cocoa and instant coffee, mixing everything together until the ingredients are completely incorporated. Add the flour, mixing well until everything is incorporated, and finally the yeast. Pour the batter into the baking dish and bake.

  • 2. Bake in a medium oven for 40 to 50 minutes. Use the toothpick test if you're not sure if it's baked yet. Wait until it's cool to remove the pan.
