  • 1. Mix the ingredients together (by hand, mixer or bread machine) until the mixture is smooth and pleasant;
    Water (170 Grams) Butter (28 Grams) Eggs (1 Unit) Wheat Flour (418 Grams) Sugar (50 Grams) Salt (1 Teaspoon) Dry Yeast (1 Tablespoon)
  • 2. Cover the dough and leave to rise for 1 to 2 hours, until doubled in size;
  • 3. Gently divide the dough into equal-sized portions and make balls with each portion. Place each ball on a baking sheet, with space between them for the dough to rise. Leave to rise for approximately 1 hour;
  • 4. Turn on the oven and preheat to 190ºC;
  • Coverage
  • 1. Brush the buns with half of the melted butter from the topping;
    Butter (1 and 1/2 Tablespoons)
  • 2. Bake the loaves in a preheated oven at 190ºC for 15-18 minutes, until golden brown;
  • 3. Remove the buns from the oven and, while the buns are still hot, brush them with the rest of the melted butter;

  • 4. Let them cool on a rack.
